Rachel LaVonne Galstad

 

I'm currently enrolled as a Senior at Saint Cloud State University. I'll be graduating this spring of 2019 following my intended Summer Internship. I'm Majoring in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. I'm an active member in Public Relations Student Society Of America (PRSSA) on campus.

 

This fall I was able to achieve real PR experience while working pro bono for the Central Minnesota Farm show. My title was Public Relations specialist for The Husky Agency.

Currently i'm training to become an ON-Air hostess of an hour long segment for KVSC 88.1 FM and I'm Technical Directing for UTVS-The Culture.

I spend my free time searching for Electronic Dance Music Festivals to do work for. It all started when I was able to become an Ambassador for the first ever Lost Lands Music Festival. This opportunity led me to experience social media promotion firsthand. When winter rolled around I became a street team member for Snowta New Years Eve Festival located in Minneapolis, MN and Returned again for a second year this time getting experience in ticket sales. This following summer I'll be promoting for Moonrise Music Festival Located in Baltimore , MD for a second time.
